The app is used to read values from a connected device, allow the user to review or change those values, and write updated values back to the device.

The Aura Link App may access or process the following types of information:

• Device configuration values read from a compatible Flex Innovations device
• Updated configuration values written back to the device
• Device connection status
• Device identification information needed to locate or communicate with supported devices
• Aura Config Files that you create, save, upload, download, share, or write to a device
• Account information, such as your email address, if you choose to create an Aura Link account
• Diagnostic or support information if you choose to send it to us

The Aura Link App does not collect analytics, logs, telemetry, or app usage tracking information.

You may use certain Aura Link App features locally without uploading your Aura Config Files. If you choose to create an account or use cloud-based features, the app may use third-party service providers to authenticate your account and store Aura Config Files that you choose to upload. Uploading an Aura Config File allows you to access it from another device, share it with others, or write it to a compatible device from another supported device.

Aura Config Files may contain device setup, configuration, or tuning information. You should only upload or share Aura Config Files that you are comfortable storing online or making available to the people you choose to share them with.

Bluetooth, USB, and Location Permissions

The Aura Link App may request access to Bluetooth, USB, nearby device, location, or related system permissions so it can discover, connect to, read from, and write to compatible Flex Innovations devices.

On some platforms, location permission is required by the operating system for Bluetooth Low Energy scanning or connection features. The Aura Link App requests location-related permissions only as necessary to support Bluetooth Low Energy communication with compatible devices. We do not use the Aura Link App to track your physical location.

We do not sell personal information collected through the Aura Link App.
